The GREENPYME Program of the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) aims to improve the competitiveness of Latin American and Caribbean companies, promoting a more rational use of energy through the adoption of good energy practices and investment in technologies and equipment more efficient and environmentally friendly.

The GREENPYME Program seeks to reduce the main barriers that hinder the development of energy efficiency in companies:

• Little information and awareness
• Little local technical capacity
• Difficulty of access to financing
• Insufficient availability of technologies and products in the market
