D. presented the results of the study “MINIMIZATION OF CHROME RESIDUES IN THE SKIN TANNING”, at the XXVII Inter-American and Colombian Congress of Engineering held at the Convention Center of the city ​​of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia Chemical between October 6 and 8 of this year.

The study managed to develop in the laboratory a recycling process for residual liquors from pickling and leather tanning processes that was applied and validated in a Cochabamba tannery, demonstrating significant savings in the consumption of water and chemical reagents, without observing any deterioration. in the quality of the finished skins.
