Technology Transfer is the procees of transfering (disseminating) abilities, knowledge, technology, production and manufacturing methods that were developed in the University, towards the Industrial Sector, the Government or the Society, so as to ensure that scientific and technological advancements are accessible and contribute to the development of the country.
The Vice-rectorate of Research at UPB follows its own model of Technology Transfer, based on the results of applied research performed at UPB Research Centers, through: collaboration agreements, technology transfer contracts, development of spin-offs, creation of technology-based companies, patents and utiliy models.
