ESTUDIO TÉCNICO - FINANCIERO PARA LA IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UNA PLANTA PILOTO PARA LA FABRICACIÓN DE BIODIESEL

Resumen

El déficit de diesel en Bolivia puede ser atenuado mediante el uso de biodiesel. Se estudió su obtención en laboratorio, transesterificando aceite de soja comercial nacional a 60 ºC y presión atmosférica, en función de la concentración de alcohol (CH3OH) y catalizador (NaOH). El rendimiento total fue de 97 2%. El perfil analizado de metilésteres del producto corresponde con perfiles reportados de ácidos grasos en aceite de soya. La cinética puede ser descrita por un modelo homogéneo propuesto con anterioridad. La calidad del combustible producido se aproxima a lo exigido por la norma ASTM 6751-03 en contenidos de glicerina libre, combinada y monoglicéridos, empleando 6 mol alcohol/mol triglicéridos y 0.7% pp de catalizador. Con estos resultados se diseñó una planta piloto discontinua para 10 barriles/día, que muestra una TIR de 24,5% si el precio del biodiesel se iguala a un valor internacional de 0,53 $US/litro.
