Luis Salinas San Martin is an Electromechanical Engineer, graduated from UPB. He holds a Master’s degree in International Business from Florida International University, a Master’s degree in Economics of the Electric Sector from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Business from the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom, and a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Glasgow, also in the United Kingdom. His interests include power system planning, electricity markets and regulation, applied optimization for electrical networks, renewable energy, digitalization, and cybersecurity of power systems.
