Alvaro Marcelo Moscoso Wayar, Ph.D.

Alvaro Moscoso Wayar is a Civil Engineer graduated from UPB, he holds a master's degree in Structural Engineering awarded by UFRGS (RS, Brazil), and is a doctoral candidate, with his thesis defense scheduled for 2025 at UFRGS. Previously, he worked in design, supervision, and construction site management, always in the field of structures; among the different projects he participated in, the most important to mention due to their scale are: "Installation of the Metal Roof of the Héroes de Octubre Sports Complex", "Design and Installation of the Presidential Hangar", and "Construction of the Ferrobeni Bridge". Currently, he teaches in the field of Structures and Construction at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
