Carlos Eduardo Jijena Michel has a postdoctoral stay at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville (Spain), as well as an International Doctorate (University of Salamanca – University of Lisbon) in Business Economics with a “Cum Laude” distinction. He completed a Master’s in “Research in Business Administration and Economics” at the University of Salamanca, Burgos, León and Valladolid (Spain). He also has a Specialization in Integrated Planning and Management from the University of Lleida (Spain) and two master’s degrees completed in Bolivia. He has published extensively in international academic journals indexed in Scopus and JCR (Q1/Q2), presenting his work at conferences in Germany, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Colombia and Bolivia. The research projects he has developed have been funded by international organizations (Banco Santander, European Union, Fundación Carolina) He is currently a full-time professor in the Business Engineering program and is part of the university’s research team.
