Cecilia Saldías, Civil Engineer from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón, with a Master’s in International Soil and Water Resources Management from Wageningen University (Netherlands) and a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences: Soil and Water Management from Ghent University (Belgium). She has more than 14 years of experience in consulting on development projects and studies in collaboration with international organizations, mainly in Bolivia. Her areas of specialization include water and sanitation, integrated water resources management, wastewater treatment and reuse, and water quality. She teaches sanitary engineering at UPB and is a member of the Technical Standardization Committee for Water Quality at IBNORCA.
