Daniel Felipe Sempértegui Tapia has a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal and Fluid Area, from the University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Brunel University in London, UK. He has publications in highly important indexed journals in his field. He is a professor-researcher at UPB and director of the Alternative Energy Laboratory.
