Mgr. Andrés Uzín Pacheco

G. J. Andrés Uzín P. is an industrial engineer and holds a master’s degree in Development Studies with a specialization in Public Policy and Management from the International Institute of Social Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, on a World Bank scholarship. Andrés is a doctoral candidate in Economics at UPB. He has published articles in newspapers, magazines, and books in Spanish and English on COVID-19 and its effects on the economy and development. Professionally, he has been a senior advisor in the Executive Secretariat of the GAMLP, vice president of ENTEL, and general manager of Public Private Management for more than ten years. He is currently the acting dean of the Olave School of Business, of the Centro de Postgrado La Paz, and academic director of the Graduate School of Public Management. In addition, he leads several master's and diploma programs in the Vice-Rectorate for Graduate Studies and has coordinated and edited three books of articles and public policy briefs published by UPB.
