Hugo Norberto Rojas Salinas, Ph.D.

Hugo Rojas completed his undergraduate and master's studies in physics-mathematics at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and earned his doctorate in the area of computational condensed matter physics at the same university. He was a teaching assistant at the École de Physique of the University of Geneva and worked at the University of Cambridge, England, as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Cavendish Laboratory. He participated in several joint research projects of the University of Geneva, the company Charmilles Technologies S.A., and the École d’Ingénieurs de Geneva. Since 1995, he has been affiliated with UPB and, currently, holds the position of Vice Rector for Research.
