Juan Carlos Durán graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in 1989. He earned his Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from The University of Oklahoma, U.S.A., in 1994, and his Master’s in Hemispheric Defense and Security from the Universidad del Salvador and the CID in the USA in 2006. He earned his doctorate from the Department of Business Organization at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, UPV, in 2015. He has held executive positions and carried out consulting work in private and public organizations, as well as in foundations dedicated to fighting poverty.
