Juan Pablo Gonzales Arce has a master's degree in alternative energy from the University of the Atlantic, in Santander, Spain. He has specializations in the energy sector, unit processes, and mathematical models for process optimization. He is currently the Head of the Industrial and Systems Engineering program, Santa Cruz campus.
