Jorge Soliz is a mechanical engineer, with postgraduate studies in Aerospace Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and is a doctoral candidate in Aerospace Science and Technology with a specialization in space science. He has worked on projects such as: SSETI "Student Space Exploration and Technology Initiative," collaborating on the design and construction of satellites (a project sponsored by the European Space Agency), Galactic Suite (space hotel), participating in space mission analysis, design of pico- and nanosatellites in various subsystems, as well as serving as technical mission director.
