Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering and Technology - UPB. Doctor of Mechanical Engineering (energy, fluids, and thermal engineering) from the University of São Paulo and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He holds master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy, as well as an MBA in Industrial Production Management. He is a Mechanical Engineer from the Universidad Técnica de Oruro. He has extensive experience in industry as a project manager, operations manager, and production superintendent. In academia, he has led undergraduate and graduate programs, and was a pioneer in the Graduate School of Engineering. He currently leads programs in energy, oil & gas, automation, and innovation, and actively participates in international research and consulting.
