Civil and Environmental Engineering Research Center

Goals

Conduct applied research in programs and lines of national and international priority, structured around the design and construction of civil works, water resources, construction materials and environmental impacts of large public works.

2. Contribute to the technical and economic improvement of civil works in the country through the use and adaptation of scientific and technological advances in the world and the generation of knowledge of regional application in: new materials, new design methods and efficiency in construction of civil works.

3. Contribute to the quantitative and qualitative improvement of the training and performance of human resources in the areas of Civil, Sanitary, Industrial, Production, Architecture, Hydrology and related engineering, through the incorporation of formative and applied research for the consolidation of excellence in undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs at UPB.
