Optimization of electricity consumption in a Bolivian industry

Bolivian industries have as one of their main problems the high consumption of electrical energy in the different processes of their plants. The objective of this project is to carry out a diagnosis of the energy efficiency related to this consumption. The proposed methodology for this diagnosis involves the following activities:

  • Survey of existing information contained in plans of facilities and technical specifications of their equipment, in addition to records of electricity consumption (invoices), both at peak times and during hours of normal operation.
  • If required, carry out an on-site survey, making electrical plans with existing single-line diagrams and load sheets for each panel.
  • Based on the analysis of the information, propose modifications to facilities and equipment operation sequences to optimize electrical energy consumption.
