The Institute for Computational Intelligence, through UPB, is a member of the MIT Global SCALE (Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence) network. Thanks to its experience in computational intelligence, the IIC is the regional leader in research projects under the umbrella of "Data-Driven & Emerging Technologies" (DD&ET). As a leader in DD&ET research, the IIC is developing research projects and coordinating collaborations within the ESCALA network in Latin America.
