Graduated in 1996 as a Computer Scientist from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, with a specialization in the area of Teleinformatics and Operating Systems. He began as a Systems Administrator in Switzerland. Upon returning to Bolivia, he entered the academic world, working as a Systems Administrator and Lecturer at UCB. Later, he served as leader of the Systems Administration, Support, and Maintenance group in the ILACO Project, under the World Bank and the Ministry of Finance. He participated in the development of the curricula for the Computer Systems Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering programs at UPB.
