The UPB was founded in 1992 in response to the economic and institutional crisis that Bolivia had been experiencing since the 1980s. Driven by the business community, UPB focuses on training professionals and entrepreneurs committed to the country's development, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence, research, and innovation.
