
Hernán Naranjo Mejía is an economist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE). He completed master’s studies in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy at Wageningen University (WUR) in the Netherlands and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Agro-food Economics at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). He is currently head of the Economics and Data Management Analytics programs at the UPB campus in the city of Cochabamba. As a researcher, his main areas of interest are related to the agricultural sector, food and nutrition security, gender, and education. He has published books and articles in international journals and is also a consultant on development projects.
