Renán Orellana Lafuente is an Electrical Engineer, graduated from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón – Bolivia (1997), and holds a master's degree in Engineering from the University of São Paulo – Brazil (1999). He has more than 25 years of professional experience, specializing in rural electrification, renewable energy, and the efficient use of electricity, and has worked as a consultant for institutions such as the IDB, World Bank, and United Nations. In the academic field, he has served as a professor at both undergraduate and graduate levels in areas related to: electrical machines, energy conversion processes, renewable energy, project evaluation, power systems, and degree project development.
