Daniel Felipe Sempértegui Tapia has a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, in the Thermal and Fluids area, from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) in Brazil. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Brunel University in London, United Kingdom. He has publications in indexed journals of great importance in his field. Currently, he serves as a research professor and director of the Alternative Energy Laboratory at UPB, Cochabamba campus.
