Carlos Vargas is a doctoral candidate in Economics at UPB. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management and is an engineer graduated from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón (UMSS). He has complemented his education with diplomas in Business Management (UPB) and Higher Education, as well as international certifications, including Green Belt Six Sigma and executive programs at INCAE. He has extensive experience in business and financial management, continuous improvement, and maintenance, having held management positions at companies such as CBN, Viva, and PIL. He currently serves as CFO of CONVAR SRL and as an independent business consultant.
