Ivette Echeverría Rojas is a chemical engineer who graduated from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón and holds a master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Universidad Técnica de Oruro. She currently works as a lecturer and researcher at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Research Center of UPB. Her professional experience focuses on water and sanitation projects, with a special emphasis on wastewater treatment and the removal of contaminants in environmental media. She is also a member of the technical committee CTN 6.4 “Water Quality” of the Bolivian Institute for Standardization, where she serves as Technical Secretary of the wastewater subcommittee.
