
Diego Salama holds a PhD in the History of International Relations from Leiden University (Netherlands) (2024) and a Master’s in International Relations (cum laude) from the same institution. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Oxford with the Rewley Scholarship. He is an Affiliated Researcher at the Institute of History of Leiden University and Editor of Global Governance (Brill/ACUNS). With more than a decade of experience as a United Nations official, he serves as Head of Partnerships and Communications at the United Nations University (UNU-MERIT), Maastricht. His research specializes in international organizations, peace operations, and multilateral governance.
