Dr. Diego Collarana is a distinguished expert in Artificial Intelligence, with a doctorate from the University of Bonn and dual master’s degrees in Software Engineering from UPM and TU Kaiserslautern. In 2022, he was awarded the Google Faculty Award for his impact on the training of young professionals in AI. He currently leads the Institute of Computational Intelligence at UPB and the Neurosymbolic AI group at Fraunhofer FIT (Germany). His pioneering research combines the understanding capabilities of LLMs with the precision of Knowledge Graphs (KGs) for AI-powered business applications.
