Mauricio Antezana Villegas is a sociologist and Master’s degree holder in Latin American Studies from UNAM. He has more than 30 years of academic experience in communication and social sciences, with teaching experience at UNAM, UCB, UMSA, FLACSO-Bolivia, and Universidad Andina. He is currently Principal Communication Advisor to the Rector’s Office and Head of the Communication program at UPB. He has served as Minister of Communication and Spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic. He is a consultant in corporate and development communication, and an expert in reverse trade fairs. Author of six books on history, sociology, gender, and communication, he combines academic research with applied experience in the public and strategic spheres.
