
Cynthia Gabriela Díaz Quevedo is a Bolivian lawyer and is currently the National Academic Director and Head of the Law program at UPB, as well as a member of the CeCo Competence Center (UAI-UPB). Her academic background includes an LLM in International Business Law, graduated with distinction (Tilburg University, Netherlands), and doctoral studies at CIDES-UMSA in the multidisciplinary program in Politics, Society, and Culture. She combines academic management, teaching, and research with experience in both the public and private sectors, notably her work as a Senior Associate at Ferrere Abogados, where she provided strategic legal counsel to national and international clients. In addition to having directed UPB’s Master’s in Commercial Law and having specialized publications, she is a former fellow of the U.S. Embassy’s IVLP program in the Women and Entrepreneurship edition. She is also an active promoter of student clubs in the areas of Human Rights, Arbitration, and Intellectual Property, has received teaching awards, and speaks native Spanish, fluent English, and intermediate French.
