Juan Carlos Durán Machicado holds a doctorate from the Department of Business Organization at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from The University of Oklahoma, and a Master's degree in Hemispheric Defense and Security from the University of Salvador and the Inter-American Defense College in the U.S.A. He has held executive positions and carried out consulting work in marketing and business management in private and public organizations, both national and international. He currently serves as Lead Professor in Strategic Marketing at UPB.
