
He has a doctorate in development economics from the University of Namur and a Master's in Environmental Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics. He leads the Center for Economic and Business Research of UPB (CIEE-UPB). A specialist in applied microeconomics and econometrics, his recent research focuses on the evaluation of informal markets, rural development, the analysis of illicit trade, and the study of the popular economy. He has extensive experience in conducting field experiments and impact studies for international organizations.
