
Andrea Sergia Alcaraz Rivero is an economist with a master’s degree in economics, specializing in labor economics, from the Université de Genève, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from UPB (magna cum laude). She has diplomas in Sustainable Development Economics and Quantitative Methods. Her areas of interest include labor, agricultural, energy, and gender economics. She is currently a research professor at UPB, where she teaches labor economics, impact evaluation, and history of economic thought at the undergraduate level, and microeconometrics and macroeconomics at the graduate level, in addition to leading and participating in impact evaluations and public policy analysis.
