Diego Zurdo Pérez, a Spanish national, holds a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Alcalá de Henares (Spain), and completed postgraduate studies in Development Cooperation and Rural Development. A European Union official since 2006, he has worked in the service of the European Commission in Africa, Oceania, America, and Europe, serving as Team Leader in different Delegations of the European External Action Service (EEAS), including the EU Delegation in Bolivia. He is currently a lecturer at UPB in the International Relations and Business degree program.
