Due to the requirements of contemporary life, we need to access to information in an easy, organized and dynamic way. Academics, researchers and fans of visual studies and, specifically, Bolivian cinema do not have a reliable and extensive data source that meets their needs for access to information.

Therefore, UPB researchers propose a possible solution to this problem: the creation of a Bolivian audiovisual database that can be accessed from the internet. In this portal, which will be hosted on the university's website, you will be able to find data on the tapes, the technical and artistic teams, photographs, links to videos, and the relevant academic and journalistic texts that deal with topics related to audiovisual national. This Bolivian cinema database aims to be a tool for researchers, professionals and amateurs, but at the same time it will contribute to the strengthening of the historical and cultural memory of our country, as well as to the consolidation of a national film industry.
