Description
The Logistics Operations Center (CeOL) develops applied research focused on the design, management, control, and improvement of logistics processes. Through technical-scientific studies, the center generates proposals that strengthen logistics efficiency and contribute to regional development.
Research areas
Innovation in education in Supply Chain Management: development of new approaches and methodologies for training in logistics and supply chain.
Sustainability in supply chains: research into sustainable logistics practices that reduce environmental impacts and improve operational efficiency.
Urban logistics and last mile: analysis and optimization of logistics operations in urban environments and final distribution.
Supply chains for food and agribusiness: applied studies on the logistics of food products and agro-industrial systems.
Networks and alliances
CeOL works aligned with the Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) network of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for Latin America and the Caribbean.
