Industrial and Robotics Technological Innovation Laboratory

Description

The Industrial Technology Innovation and Robotics Laboratory (LITIR) at UPB aims to strengthen the training of professionals capable of developing applied research and generating new technologies oriented to Bolivia's productive context.

Purpose and scope

LITIR contributes to the development of technology-based ventures and to increased business productivity through systems automation, technology integration, and innovation in the design and construction of smart devices and machines.

Areas of work
  • Industrial maintenance: development of hardware and software for vibration analysis and condition-based maintenance (MBC) of industrial equipment.

  • Industrial control and automation: design and implementation of automation systems that integrate cutting-edge technologies to optimize industrial processes.

  • Applied robotics: development of intelligent systems for monitoring natural disasters and bi-mechatronics solutions oriented toward rehabilitation and robotic control.

Institutional approach

The laboratory brings together research, innovation, and technology transfer, promoting practical solutions that respond to the needs of industry and society.
