UPB has been confirmed as the number one private university in Bolivia in the QS World University Rankings: Latin America & The Caribbean 2027. The official results published by the British consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) not only reaffirm our leadership, but also highlight a significant numerical advance in the main academic, scientific, and reputational indicators of the region.
Our achievements in numbers
The performance of UPB in this edition reflects a quantitative leap that consolidates its trajectory of regional excellence:
We advanced 33 positions in the Scientific Research indicator (Citations per Paper), demonstrating the relevance and quality of research production in international databases such as Scopus.
We advanced 24 positions in the Employer Preference indicator (Employer Reputation), reflecting the high valuation and trust of companies in the professional performance of our graduates.
We advanced 10 positions in the General Classification for Latin America and the Caribbean.
We advanced 6 positions in the General Classification for South America.
We advanced 1 position in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027, positioning our executive master's degree in position #7 in all of Latin America.
