The UPB, through its executive education unit EXEED Executive Education, successfully completed the Workshop: Artificial Intelligence for Boards and C-Suite, a program that traveled through the three campuses of the institution —La Paz, Santa Cruz and Cochabamba— and established itself as a reference space for Bolivian corporate leadership.

During the sessions held in each city, board members, CEOs, and senior executives from different productive sectors of the country had the opportunity to analyze how artificial intelligence is transforming strategic analysis, scenario evaluation, risk management, and executive synthesis. The workshop's highly practical focus allowed participants to incorporate tools and methodologies directly applicable to their decision-making processes.

The training cycle was led by a team of facilitators with extensive academic backgrounds: Oscar Molina Tejerina, Ph.D., Rector of the UPB; Alejandro Vargas Sánchez, Ph.D., Vice Rector of the F.I.R. - La Paz Campus; and Alex Villazón Torrico, Ph.D., National Dean of the Department of Information Technologies. Their participation allowed them to address the challenges of artificial intelligence from a rigorous perspective oriented towards business application.

With this initiative, EXEED Executive Education UPB reaffirms its commitment to accompanying Bolivian senior management in a context marked by technological transformation, promoting training spaces that strengthen the strategic vision and decision-making capacity of its leaders.

The activity concluded with a message shared by the organizers: artificial intelligence does not replace leadership, but rather empowers it, expanding organizations' capacity to anticipate scenarios, analyze complex information, and act with greater judgment in environments increasingly defined by technology, thus consolidating its academic leadership in training executives prepared for the future.
