About the master's degree
The Full Time Master's in Economics at UPB is an exclusive-dedication academic program, designed to offer an education of excellence in economics. Its hallmark is the combination of analytical rigor, economic intuition, and intellectual integrity.
The program seeks to bring its students closer to the frontier of knowledge and prepare them to formulate and answer fundamental questions for Bolivia and the world. Training in economic theory, econometrics, and quantitative methods is not limited to mastering techniques; it seeks to develop the ability to identify relevant problems, select appropriate tools, and critically interpret evidence. This approach, based on the scientific method and the open debate of ideas, constitutes what we understand as an education in good Economics.
The Master's degree takes place in a demanding academic environment, led by professors holding Ph.D. degrees, international experience, and active participation in research. The exclusive dedication fosters ongoing interaction between professors and students, participation in academic activities, and the preparation of a thesis.
This education prepares its graduates to contribute with independent judgment and technical proficiency in the public sector, the private sector, international organizations, research centers, and universities, as well as to pursue doctoral studies.

Conduct an interview with the Program Director.
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in Economics. Professionals from other fields may be considered on an exceptional basis and will be evaluated based on their academic and professional merits.

Certified Copy of National Degree Title.
Simple photocopy of the identity card or passport.
