The Student Society of the Universidad Privada Boliviana (SEUPB) was founded in 1994 with the objective of representing the interests and aspirations of students, fostering leadership, promoting democratic responsibility, and projecting the mission of the UPB.
SEUPB is the Student Society of the UPB: the body that represents and defends the interests of the entire student community.
Organizes most of the activities related to student well-being and proposes events and changes for the benefit of the students.
Its main objective is to collaborate with the mission of UPB to educate leaders who contribute to the development of the country.
1994 - 2003
Growth
It started in Cochabamba, bringing together 60–70 students. In 2003, democratic elections were institutionalized in La Paz, marking a before and after.
2007 - 2024
Consolidation
It expanded to Santa Cruz, governance was strengthened, and cultural, sports, and academic activities were incorporated. During the pandemic, it adapted its activities to the virtual format.
Current Affairs
It is a fundamental pillar of university life, with events such as the UPB Match, folkloric festivals, sports championships, volunteering, and inter-major competitions.
At UPB, personal growth is a defining pillar of professional preparation.
