UPB signed a cooperation agreement with the Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Bolivia at an institutional ceremony led by Vice Rector Alejandro Vargas Sánchez, Ph.D., CFA, and the president of the Spanish organization, Ildefonso Núñez López. The agreement represents a key step in the consolidation of strategic alliances between the institution and the international business sector, strengthening UPB's global projection and that of its student community.

As part of the day's activities, a talk was held for students, in which Carlos Eduardo Jijena Michel, Ph.D., head of the International Relations and Business program, participated, accompanied by the president of the Spain Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, the representative of the Spanish institution shared his experience in the international business field and offered attendees an up-to-date perspective on the opportunities that the global environment presents for professionals in training.

The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration that includes student access to professional internships in companies linked to the chamber, as well as support for the design and implementation of internationally oriented projects. These initiatives seek to align academic training with the demands of the global market, generating concrete, high-value experiences for future graduates.

With this alliance, UPB reaffirms its commitment to a comprehensive education that connects its students with the business world. Building ties with international organizations is a fundamental pillar of its internationalization strategy, aimed at preparing professionals with a global outlook and the ability to respond to the challenges of the contemporary environment.
