
UPB and Zamorano University presented the International Diploma in Agribusiness Management, an initiative that coordinates academia and the productive sector to strengthen the management, innovation, productivity, and competitiveness of Bolivian agriculture through specialized training and connection with leading organizations in the sector.
UPB and Zamorano University held the official launch of the International Diploma in Agribusiness Management, a new training proposal that seeks to respond to the current challenges of the Bolivian agricultural sector through the development of management, leadership, and innovation capacities. The meeting brought together academic authorities and representatives of organizations directly linked to the country's productive activity.
On behalf of UPB, Carlos Foronda, Ph.D., Vice Rector of the Santa Cruz Campus, and Vivian Verduguez, Ph.D., National Dean of University Development, participated, highlighting the importance of generating academic spaces that integrate specialized knowledge with the real needs and experiences of companies and organizations in the agricultural sector.
The initiative has the participation of FEGASACRUZ, FEDEPLE, ASOCEBU, Juventud Agropecuaria, and CREA Bolivia, institutions that play a relevant role in the development of national agriculture. This articulation will strengthen the link between academia and the productive sector, generating training aimed at improving decision-making, productivity, innovation, and the competitiveness of agribusiness.
The launch was also attended by prominent representatives of the agricultural sector, including Juan Manuel Rojas, Carlos Muñoz, Marcelo Muñoz, Mario Justiniano, and Enrique Muñoz, consolidating a meeting space between professionals, organizations, and leaders committed to the sustainable growth of this strategic activity for Bolivia.
Through this alliance with Zamorano University and the main organizations of the sector, UPB strengthens its commitment to training connected with the challenges of the productive environment, promoting the development of leaders capable of driving the transformation, innovation, and competitiveness of Bolivian agriculture.
