This work determines, under different scenarios based on the use of the ATPDEA, the impact that the signing or not of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States would have on the growth of Bolivia. A Leontieff-type multiplier model is used, which allows measuring direct impacts, through the exporting sectors identified as potentially beneficiaries of the agreement, and indirect, through sectors that supply inputs and services. The issue is approached from a perspective that places the FTA between Bolivia and the United States as part of a global wave of trade liberalization treaties that is present in the region.
