Investment Monitoring Platform – IMP
The large amount and complexity of data to carry out an accurate analysis to carry out investments and / or economic investigations can be extremely difficult without adequate computer tools.
The Project “Investment Monitoring Platform - IMP” of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), is an online workspace (online) that allows its users to carry out sophisticated analyzes on trends for investment in countries in development pathways and evaluate the performance and impact of foreign investments in receiving economies. The IMP data is the result of investment surveys in countries participating in the UNIDO Investment Promotion Program.
These resulting data make up several thousand indicators that were collected, collected and validated, and which are available to the public.
The IMP platform through data visualization tools, allows users to perform empirical analysis in an intuitive and simple way. Likewise, the platform allows generating reports, sharing knowledge bases with other users, evaluating and commenting on the results of searches and investigations made by others.
IMP is used by Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs), Government Agencies, UNIDO and its partners, the private sector, investors and researchers worldwide.
